Frequently asked questions

We operate safaris across all of Kenya’s most celebrated parks and reserves — Shimba Hills, Tsavo East, Tsavo West, Amboseli, Salt Lick / Taita Hills, and the Masai Mara. We also cover Tanzania for combined Kenya-Tanzania expeditions, as well as coastal tours along the Kenyan coast.

All our safaris use modern, well-maintained 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser jeeps fitted with open pop-up roofs — the industry standard for game viewing and wildlife photography. Our vehicles are cleaned and serviced regularly and comfortably seat up to 7 guests.

Absolutely. We regularly run family safaris and adapt every itinerary to suit the ages and needs of all travellers. We recommend Shimba Hills and Tsavo for younger children — shorter drives, incredible wildlife, and a more relaxed pace.

Kenya offers excellent wildlife viewing year-round. The peak season runs July–October during the Great Migration in the Masai Mara. For Tsavo and the coast-based parks, January–February and June–July offer the best game viewing. We’ll always advise on the ideal timing for your chosen destination.

Yes — all our tours are fully customisable. Whether you want a private romantic safari, a photography-focused expedition, or a family adventure with specific stops, we’ll tailor every element from vehicle type to accommodation level and daily schedule.

We understand that plans change. Cancellations made 14+ days before departure receive a full refund. Cancellations within 7–13 days incur a 25% fee. Less than 7 days notice — 50% fee. Full details provided at booking.
